The Marketing Operations department is the growth engine that drives results and sets the rhythm for the marketing organization. Through people, planning, process and data, Marketing Operations is the backbone of the marketing team enabling the marketing division to operate efficiently while allowing the business units to focus on growth and delivering value to our customers. The Traffic Manager directs the workflow to and from cross-functional teams to ensure that materials and resources flow through the project life cycle in an efficient, deadline-driven manner. Create work schedules and develop viable solutions for any workflow delays that may affect deadlines. Manages coordination and tracking of multiple projects to ensure deadlines and goals are achieved. The Traffic Manager significantly contributes to the organization’s success in achieving revenue and budget goals through effective campaign implementation via efficient workflow management.
Base Salary: $55,000 - $60,000/per yr.
Duties and Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Scheduling all marketing campaign job requests and overseeing them through the various stages of progression, including creating detailed schedules, establishing milestones, and setting deadlines.
- Distribute assignments to campaign enablement teams and other departments, depending on their availability and priorities with the assistant of capacity planning tools.
- Proactively monitor projects and workloads in order to adjust assignments and deadlines accordingly based on current demands.
- Conduct daily stand-up meetings with the department to discuss outstanding project issues, determine any potential roadblocks, and help collaborate on an effective path forward.
- Communicate clear direction and information to ensure teams understand project scope, timing, and requirements.
- Help manage project archival, and the creation of supporting documentation as needed.
Continuous Workflow Improvement
- Work closely with other members of the Process & Workflow Excellence Team to prioritize and implement incoming workflow update requests.
- Advance knowledge our project management tool (e.g., Asana); integrate advanced software features into our daily workflows.
- Continuously seek ways to improve communications and efficiencies within the project management system.
- Maintain and update Asana project templates to reflect changes or improvements to project workflows.
- Understand every aspect of the marketing organizations’ processes and workflows to optimize project trafficking efforts.
- Participate in Quarterly Planning Meeting (QPM) to help drive the successful planning of our team OKR efforts.
- Foster an open environment where concerns and opinions can be freely expressed and addressed in effort to proactively focus on the uncertainties and risks involved in any project.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications include:
- Skills
- Strong communication, problem-solving, project management, analytical skills, follow-through, change management, organizational discipline, technical skills, ability to make decisions fast and establish rules towards proper business management, recordkeeping, and time management
- Years of Experience (i.e., industry specific, management experience)
- Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and minimum of 3+ years of experience in Marketing Traffic Management or an associated position.
- This role requires above average project management skills with strong communication, troubleshooting, organizational and time-management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications include:
- Specialized Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and project management software (e.g., ProWorkflow, JIRA, Airtable, Asana, etc.)
- Project Management certification or training is a plus

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $51,300 and $120,750. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
