Business Advisor - Small Business Development Center – Oswego, NY Location
Jefferson Community College, Watertown, New York, a member of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, is conducting a search for a Business Advisor - Small Business Development Center for the Oswego location. This position provides a comprehensive range of small business-based assistance including one-to-one client counseling in the area of business plan development. The position also analyzes, prepares, and structures financial statements such as cash flow projections, income statements, and sources. Additionally provides assistance in automated and manual record keeping systems and assists clients with market-related issues such as advertising, promotional functions, market surveys, and other related areas. Professional staff are expected to advance the College's focus on student success and completion and will work closely with the College's leadership to advance the mission of the Strategic Plan 2020-2025.
NOTE: This position is being posted for a vacancy in the SUNY Oswego Office. The successful candidate will be working from Oswego and will be expected to travel intermittently to the Watertown Office and the Lewis County Education Center.
Required:
• Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License which meets the College’s insurance carrier’s requirements and the ability to travel to the Regional Office in Watertown, NY and the Lewis County Education Center in Lowville, NY, as required.
