Digital Account Manager - Senior Living
The Digital Account Manager - Senior Living is a media consultant that focuses on retaining revenue from existing Senior Living accounts. The Digital Account Manager will assist in placement and review of performance of a portfolio of clients that invest in McClatchy digital marketing channels inclusive of, but not limited to, search engine marketing (SEM), programmatic advertising (display and video), geofence advertising, social media advertising (Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), and additional paid media channels that are a part of the McClatchy channel mix. This position works in conjunction with The Manager of Marketing Operations, Business Development and Vice President of Advertising, Senior Living while , following the sales process and ensuring marketing solutions are implemented correctly and meet customer needs.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is between $65,000 and $72,000 annually. Individual base pay may vary within that range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education, department equity, training, geography, and local wage and hours laws.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Retain and grow existing revenue streams for the Senior Living team through excellent customer service and strategic account management
- Build strong relationships with advertising agencies and advertisers within these categories to ensure the long-term success of both new and existing campaigns
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadline-driven mentality
- Establish communication/collaboration timeline unique to each individual client to ensure success metrics and client satisfaction are met and contract renewal is completed in a timely manner
- Utilize Hubspot and Adpoint as a Predictive and Collaborative tool
- Stay up to date with industry trends to share expertise and advise clients on new campaign ideas
- Work with Account Management, Media Buying, Research and Graphic Design teams to meet and exceed client performance expectations
- Routine account reviews with Sales Executives, Vice President and Performance team to identify retention and growth opportunities
- Travel to meet with prospects and clients as needed
- Lead the post-sale onboarding and account management (along with the Account Executive)
- Understand customer's KPIs and optimize the campaign accordingly
- Be a leader in creating campaign strategy and collaborating with the sales teams.
- Determine tracking strategies needed to tell a campaign’s true story and be able to use data-storytelling to a client.
- Prepare monthly campaign reports and present with the Account Executive to the customer

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree AND 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to have productive customer interactions in person, on the phone, via video conference or via email
- Experience with a variety of digital marketing tactics including social, SEO, SEM, display AND/OR programmatic
- A proven track record in digital campaign sales, strategy or performance management
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, creativity and strategic skills
- Must have reliable transportation. Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance required (at least minimum insurance required for the state in which the employee works)
