Job Summary/Basic Function
The Area Coordinator will manage and perform administrative tasks of assigned residence halls within the department of Housing and Residential Life. Essential duties include: coordinate educational and programmatic efforts for the area; assist with staff selection and supervision; implement housing policies and procedures; verify and maintain required housing records; participate in an on call rotation, and perform other related tasks as assigned. Twelve month contract with a base annual salary plus an on campus apartment valued at $3,000. In addition, the Area Coordinator is provided full administrative benefits which include health insurance, life insurance, retirement, vacation time and sick leave.
Required Education
Master's degree required. Master's degree in Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration or a related field preferred.
Note: Master's degree must be obtained by time of employment.
Required Related Experience
No experience required.
Desirable Related Experience
Experience in student personnel, higher education administration or related field preferred with Master's degree.
