Inside Sales Representative:

Looking for an exciting opportunity to utilize your customer service talents? Do you want to become a part of a winning sales team that is driving the success of one of Iowa’s key manufacturing organizations? PMX has an opportunity for you as an Inside Sales Representative.  This is an entry level position. 

Primary Job Duties:

Your daily responsibilities will include all functions related to the service of PMX customers including:

• Review finished goods/provide open order reports/order status to customers
• Provide all necessary forms.
• Initiate contract review for new business.
• Maintain records and provide reports as required.
• Summarize standard capabilities and lead times for customers
• Convey customer needs to remainder of organization.
• Provide metal value firming calculation and the development of corresponding agreements.
• Oversee individual customer program activities.
• Provide pricing, review orders, and handle customer complaints.
• Quotations, pricing, selling, order entry, load planning, and order inquiries. 
• Any other duties as assigned.

Experience/Education Requirements:

• Position requires excellent communication skills and interaction with all levels both internally and externally.
• Must have the ability to work with operations in solving customer order issues. 
• Must have Windows-based computer skills with experience in/understanding of Excel.
• Minimum of Associate Degree in Business or related experience preferred.
• At least one year of experience in customer service. 
• Metals industry experience or knowledge of metals preferred, but not required.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and background screening.
