PAYROLL SECRETARY
Essential Functions:
-
Enters new employee information
-
Makes necessary adjustments to employee salaries and voluntary deductions
-
Balances records, payroll reports and processes checks
-
Files payroll-related withholding and tax reports every pay period
-
Makes direct deposit transfers
-
Prepares bills for Accounts Payable Secretary
-
Files quarterly reports to Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment and Wage Tax
-
Processes monthly reports to PSERS and VOYA
-
Processes year-end closing, including printing and mailing of W2’s and 1095’s
-
Prints yearly attendance reports, verifying signature and correcting discrepancies
