Assistant
The Numad Group is a fundraising, communications and organizational planning consulting firm that works with nonprofits in the arts, education, and meeting immediate needs across the United States. The company also is a building developer and manager of community spaces in downtown Rapid City, including The Garage – Rapid City.
Summary
The Assistant provides a full range of administrative and project support to the day-to-day workflow of The Numad Group’s consulting and The Garage. The job requires close attention to detail, some research skills, a high level of organization and follow-up, and a focus on customer service. The Assistant will work on multiple projects at one time, and will need to be comfortable taking initiative and working independently. Responsibilities include:

Administrative support for consultants and staff members. This may include preparation of meeting materials, managing expense reports and office supplies, and organizing and maintaining electronic and paper files and records.

Project support for consultants. This may include compiling information from several sources, reviewing materials, packaging reports and other independent projects.

Day-to-day operations of The Garage. This will include responding and providing solutions to member and tenant inquires, light management of social media and executing lease agreements with members.

Oversight of a preventative maintenance schedule for properties associated with The Numad Group.

The Assistant will report to the Vice President and support several members of our team. The position will be based in our Rapid City, South Dakota office.
Qualifications

Three years of experience in administrative support and project management, preferably in a nonprofit or property management environment.

Demonstrated ability to effectively organize information, establish priorities, and schedule and complete work assignments under firm deadlines.

Ability to work consistently, efficiently, and independently without extensive supervision.

Ability to exercise good judgment, to demonstrate an understanding of ethics related to development activities, and to use discretion in interactions with members, prospects, and others.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Intermediate skills using Microsoft Professional Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Compensation
This position will be compensated at an hourly rate of $18.00–$20.00. A benefits package will include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
